Introducing your cottage
Even in Cornwall there aren’t too many places where you can sit on your patio and watch buzzards, squirrels, deer and more birds than you can name. But from Hillside, you can.
Lift the latch on the quirky wooden gate into the garden and come on in. The cottage is all on one level with just a few steps from the nearby parking in the lane.
The living space
Enter via Hillside’s conservatory – a lovely place to enjoy the peaceful views down to the woods with a glass of wine in the evening. Hillside is one of our most popular dog friendly cottages, with the conservatory being ideal for drying off muddy paws.
The snug open plan living room is a welcoming haven with comfy seating to sink into whilst you watch tv or relax around the cosy gas fire.
The kitchen and diner
The kitchen/diner is as well equipped as home to ensure chores are kept to a minimum, funky yellow kitchen, electric cooker with gas hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher.
As in all our cottages, the interiors are stylish but not fussy and there are no fancy ornaments for you to have to hide out of children’s reach — we want you to be able to relax and enjoy your holiday!
The bedrooms
Hillside’s master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower room. The twin room has two 3 ft single beds (one of which can slide away to make room for a cot alongside) and an en-suite bathroom with wc, basin and bath with shower over.
Bed linen is provided (pillows and duvets are hypo-allergenic) plus bath towels and handtowels. Our Laundry has several large machines and tumble dryers for you to use during your stay.
