If a home setting is more your idea of a relaxing holiday, we have some beautiful cottages and holiday homes in some stunning locations. We work closely with our holiday home owners, we provide them with a selection of sensory equipment and toys to compliment all the usual home comforts you would expect from a holiday home. Because we have personally visited each and every one of the properties, we have been able to make a list of features so that you can choose the perfect location to suit your family. We support all our guests before and during your stay – take a look at how we go the extra mile.
We have lots available inside our cottage properties to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible for all family members. We know how hard it can be to keep a child on the spectrum entertained and comfortable in a new place, especially if there are some days that need to be spent indoors. We have a range of sensory equipment, toys books and home comforts that will help with this. You can get a more detailed look at each property and what is included by viewing the individual accommodation below.
Making a booking for one of our properties is easy! You can either fill out the enquiry form on the specific property page, enquire about several properties at once via our Booking Enquiry Form or contact us. Once we have confirmed that your chosen property is available for the dates you have requested, you will need to pay a deposit* to secure the dates. We offer flexible payment options. For more information on our booking process and the support you will get before, during and after your stay, please click here.
*Depending in the date of stay, full payment may be payable at the time of booking and some properties may ask for an additional security bond which must be paid alongside the deposit when booking.
All our accommodation has been visited and has met our criteria to ensure suitability for a family with a child or children on the spectrum. Take a look at our criteria list and find out more about what equipment will be available and how we prepare all our properties for your stay here.
Please note that due to recent fire regulation changes, all holiday homes must now ensure it is possible for all guests to evacuate properties as quickly and safely as possible. This means that exit doors (front or back doors) should be easy to unlock without a key. This means that all holiday homes will now have at least one thumb turner lock.
We have a growing selection of different holiday accommodation located around the country. We launched Spectrum Holidays mid-2019 and are continuing to add to our property catalogue as quickly as we can. Our volunteers need to visit each holiday home to assess suitability which can take time to organise so please bare with us. We’ve had lots of interest from holiday owners who wish to become Spectrum partners so we will be continuing to add new accommodation all the time so please do keep checking back. If you are looking for accommodation in a particular region of the country, please register your interest and we will get in touch with you as soon as we have suitable accommodation for you to look at.
