The Spectrum Accommodation Criteria

Every one of the properties you find our website has been visited and assessed for suitability for a family with a child or children on the Spectrum.

We know that all of our guests will have very different needs.  Where possible we will always look for:

• Key lockable Window and exterior door locks.  ( Please note that this is not possible in caravans and lodges due to fire safety regulations)
• Either Sky or Freeview TV.
• Having Stair gates/child gates available for free hire for properties with stairs.
• Bed guards available to use.
• Blackout blinds either installed or temporary ones available.
• Access to nearby shops, pubs or even a supermarket delivery service.

The Spectrum Pack

Each property has been installed with one of our Spectrum Packs that includes:

• A selection of handheld fidget toys
• Light projectors
• Easy hold mirrors
• Sensory light toys
• Fibre optic plume
• A range of sensory tactile toys
• Visual resource pack
• Stair gate and bed guard (if applicable)
