Laburnum – sleeps 8 (4 bedrooms)

Introducing your cottage

The view from Laburnum seems to go on forever – right across the valley, the golf course, and almost to the sea beyond. Turn the key on the front door to step into a wonderfully inviting space.

The living space

The living room has a stunning, unusual design with a large circular living room window to maximise the view and the light. Sink into the sumptuous leather sofas and demand a glass of wine…or two!

The kitchen

The kitchen is superb, slate floor with red gloss units with granite work tops, an American style fridge freezer and a gas range cooker equipped with everything you might need to whisk up a family feast or breakfast fry up. A large antique pine dining table is perfect for family dining or card games.

The bedrooms

There’s a family bathroom with bath, wash basin, WC and separate shower on the ground floor, plus a large double bedroom and a twin bedroom with two 3ft single beds. Upstairs there are two huge bedrooms – a double room with king size bed and seating area and a twin, both with en-suite shower rooms and fabulous views over the valley.

Outside space

French doors lead from here to the patio extension of the circular window, supported by impressive granite gate posts we found in a reclamation yard. This spot is a real sun trap with more gorgeous views and patio furniture to sit watching the chickens and ducks pottering about or enjoying leisurely book reading and summer evening barbecues.

Bed linen is provided (pillows and duvets are hypo-allergenic) plus bath towels and handtowels. Our Laundry has several large machines and tumble dryers for you to use during your stay.

New fire regulations regarding external doors may mean that the holiday home Is not suitable for disabled people
