Built in the 1830s, every inch of Polclay is full of cosy character, from its low beamed ceilings to its granite fireplace with real wood-burning stove – perfect for snuggling up by with that special someone after a bracing cliff walk in the winter evenings.

The kitchen and living space

The kitchen has the open plan living/dining room to hand making it easy to spend time with family whilst cooking. The colourful kitchen has white wooden units and Fired Earth metro tiles, an electric cooker with ceramic hob, painted wooden dresser and funky orange fridge freezer and is well equipped with everything you need to pack a picnic, rustle up a breakfast fry up or cook the fish you caught on a seaside boat trip.

The lounge area is snug with a beautiful slate floor, funky colourful rug and comfortable leather sofas to relax on in front of the fire.

The bedrooms

Climb up the old winding staircase and you’ll find two bedrooms, the master with double bed and en-suite shower room. And a twin bedroom with two 3ft single beds. The teal tiled family bathroom is snuggled under the slope of the roof with basin, wc and shower over the bath.

Outside space

You can walk straight out of the double bedroom onto the patio – have your summer breakfasts in your dressing gown!
