This quaint, cosy two-bedroom dog-friendly cottage sleeps three and makes for the perfect country retreat. It has plenty of public footpaths to explore from your doorstep and is set within its own private, enclosed garden and meadow.
The detached stone cottage has an open plan kitchen/diner and lounge area with a separate utility room and downstairs toilet and stairs leading up to a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a shower room.
The historic Welbeck estate is nestled within Sherwood Forest in north Nottinghamshire. Wonderful country walks straight from the door and a great central location for exploring Rufford, Newstead, Clumber, Bolsover Castle and Hardwick Hall.
A Spectrum Pack of Sensory Toys and equipment is available for your use and includes: a selection of handheld fidget toys, sensory light toys, sensory play mats, mirrors, and visual resources.

There are key lockable windows to some windows however all upstairs windows are restricted.
The exterior doors have thumb turner locks
The garden is surrounded by fencing covered in chicken wire, however there are 2 wooden gates that can be climbed. One leading to the road, and one to the stream.
There is a small stream at the bottom of the garden.
The bedroom doors are fitted with internal thumb-turn locks. In the event that a child accidentally locks themselves inside, an emergency lock opener is provided to allow the door to be unlocked quickly from the outside.

There is a 2 night minimum stay in place for Stable Cottage with a Monday arrival day. Friday arrivals require a 3 night minimum stay.
To secure a reservation there is a 30% non refundable deposit with the remaining balance due 4 weeks before arrival.
Prices will fluctuate throughout the year and prices for a short stay at Stable Cottage start at £429. Discounts and special offers may be available at certain times of the year.
