Stewton Stars Hideaway is an idyllic tranquil, countryside retreat. A fantastic place to kick back, unwind and get away from it all – recharging mind and body in beautiful surroundings. Nestled between the award winning golden beaches of the Lincolnshire Coast and pretty green hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds (AONB), here you’ll find magical glamping and holiday accommodation immersed in unspoilt nature.
Finalists for this years Destination Lincolnshire Tourism Awards (Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year) Stewton Stars Hideaway provides a beautifully luxurious stay where all guests can disconnect from the modern world. This is a truly peaceful place where guests can unwind amongst nature. Look closely and you may even spot one of the other residents – there are rabbits, squirrels, pheasants, owls, deers and even the odd fox all living here.
Feel the stresses of life melt away as you embrace the magical moment of sunset from the purpose built terrace. After dusk sets – this is the perfect place to absorb the dark starry skies. Families particularly enjoy cosy nights stargazing around the firepit, wrapped in warm blankets with mugs of hot chocolate. You may even be blessed with a shooting star or two!
For those looking to explore, the nearby coast offers miles of outstretched vistas with golden sandy beaches. The classic English seaside resorts of Skegness, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes are all close by. Make magical memories building sand castles with little ones and enjoying all the fun of the fair, before finishing off with the best fish and chips around! There are also waterparks, trampoline parks and one of the best rope courses in the UK all only a short drive away.
Animal lovers are also well catered for with a vast array of farms and zoos close by. Get up close and personal with the bears at Wolds Wildlife Park or feed the tigers at Woodside Wildlife. Be transported to the tropical waters of the deep blue ocean at Skegness Aquarium; for an unforgettable experience be sure to book the shark dive.
For those searching a more peaceful day out – the nearby Donkey Sanctuary and Seal Sanctuary are the perfect place to while away the day with the kids, watching the animals go about their daily routine.
Louth, a small market town, is only two miles from Stewton Stars Hideaway and boasts an abundance of restaurants, pubs, cafes and tea rooms. Alternatively there are many take aways which will deliver direct to the site, allowing you even longer to relax, unwind and soak up the beautiful surroundings.

The Old Coach House
This cosy country cottage offers a true home from home experience with a private, secluded garden. The Old Coach House is perfect for smaller families looking for a peaceful space to unwind after a day exploring the local attractions. The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished, providing everything you could need for your own little ‘hideaway’ holiday. While away the days in the serene, secluded garden. Relax by the pond and soak up the surroundings before dining al-fresco on the gas fired BBQ
Games and DVDs are provided for guest enjoyment. WiFi is also supplied, although we do encourage guests to ‘disconnect’ whenever possible to rest the mind and recharge.
The Old Coach House comes with its own spacious kitchen, equipped with everything you could need. It has a private bathroom and an abundance of fluffy towels, toiletries and slippers to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay.
There is a spacious double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and family bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs you will find a lounge area with TV, log burner effect fireplace and pull out sofa bed (small double).

Included in your stay
As standard you will find tea, coffee, sugar, milk, complimentary biscuits, towels, toilet rolls, slippers and all the toiletries you could need. Please see the individual property descriptions above to see what is included in each accommodation.
A Spectrum Pack of Sensory Toys and equipment is available for your use and includes: a selection of handheld fidget toys, sensory light toys, sensory play mats, mirrors, and visual resources.
A guest information folder is provided, containing walking and cycling routes in the area, local beaches and attractions along with recommendations for places to eat. However, should you have any questions, feel free to ask the helpful owners.
All bed linens and towels are provided for all of the accommodation.
For those celebrating a special occasion, the owners also offer a Party Package. Perfect for birthdays, this includes balloons, banners and a cake of your choice and the price is £15. Please get in touch with the owners to arrange.
Things you may need to know
There are 3 cabins on the grounds at Stewton Stars Hideaway. We list the largest one on our website, however smaller cabins are available if you wanted to bring additional guests.
The accommodation is on the same site as the owners’ home, although is separated by trees and spread over 3 acres. Jessica and her family are extremely welcoming and encourage families to explore all of the grounds. Guests are free to use the trampoline and sports equipment that can be found outside their home.
The owners are committed to developing their knowledge of autism, to make them the best host possible for all guests with neurodiverse needs. As such, Jessica has recently completed her Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism (Dec 2023).
The owners have 2 dogs and 1 cat and you may see the family taking the dogs for walks.
Due to the many steps in and around the site and gravel walkways – unfortunately the accommodation is not accessible for wheelchair users and may be challenging for those with limited mobility.
There is a large pond in the garden outside The Old Coach House.
The Old Coach House staircase is fairly steep.
Stewton Stars Hideaway is open all year round.

Before and during your stay
We understand that preparing an autistic person for a holiday can sometimes be challenging. At Spectrum Holidays we are always looking for ways to make this process easier. We design bespoke, personalised visual stories and countdown calendars for every person that would benefit from additional preparation for their holiday.
Inside the Spectrum Pack you will also find a set of visuals to help support you while on holiday, there is also a “now, next, later” travel keyring to take out and about with you as you visit the local area.

There is a minimum stay of 2 nights at Stewton Stars Hideaway with flexible check in days.
To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and ensure a peaceful stay, unfortunately pets cannot be accommodated on-site.
