Description

Bosinver Farm Cottages is a unique haven in the heart of Cornwall. A place where families can rewild, rechild and reconnect. A place to play, explore and relax all together.  A place to find adventure, wonder and more than a little bit of magic! The essence of Bosinver is about running beautifully unbridled through the countryside, wellies on, without a care in the world. Immerse yourself in the magical, colourful world of Bosinver. Laid out much like a small hamlet, Bosinver truly is a magical place. Set in a tranquil valley not far from the south coast, our 20 holiday cottages sit in 35 acres of wildflower meadows and beautifully landscaped gardens. When it comes to luxury holiday cottages, Bosinver has it covered; from eco homes to carefully converted former farmhouses, each of our cottages has been individually designed with luxury in mind.  With stylish interiors and open plan living spaces, no matter which of our cottages you choose, we know you’ll enjoy every detail we’ve lovingly put in place for you.

You can look forward to relaxing in beautiful self catering accommodation, all offering a calm and luxurious atmosphere – perfect after a day of exploring at Bosinver! All cottages at Bosinver have been rated 4* or 5* Gold by Quality in Tourism assessors, so you can rest assured you’re in good hands.

At Bosinver the team take their jobs very seriously, and make it their mission to create amazing memories for children of all ages who will love spending time exploring the woodland, lake, play areas with rope swings and tyre swings, and acres of wildflower meadows to run free.

There is a heated indoor pool for swim sessions, a DVD library for them to choose something for family film night and a dedicated Wild Kids Club session where camp leader Tatum caters for all ages, fireside toasted marshmallows included of course! Each morning the kids are free to join Farmer Dave for his animal feeding sessions – he knows the perfect balance between guidance and independence for each child and feeding the ducks, chickens and goats is a great way to start the day for all the family.

Bosinver Cottages

Some of our cottages were once busy farm buildings; milk was collected, separated and prepared for market in Trerose and Jacks Barn, whilst Polclay was once a stable for carthorses and Pentree was where the carts were stored!

Farmer Dave still has and uses the lovely old ‘Fergie’ tractor and trailer which were on the farm in the 1940s when the Tremlett family farmed here!

‘Well Close’ and ‘Higher Hill’ take their names from the fields they adjoin, with our other cottages named after the shrubs growing nearby (Olearia, Veronica, Laburnum, Hydrangea, Buddleia, Rose, Apple, Pear and Cherry), their location (Hillside) or outlook (Valley View).

Lowen – our eco-cottage and the jewel in the Bosinver crown, was built in 2011 as a zero-carbon house fit for the 21st century. Lowen means ‘happy’ in Cornish and also reflects its sustainable low-energy usage. Its structure was built using traditional methods from reclaimed timber and lime rendered straw bales but its renewable energy technologies are truly up to date – the cottage is energy self-sufficient, with PV panels and a ground source heat pump to provide electricity, heating and hot water to the house. Lowen generates enough electricity to power itself plus two other cottages and send energy back to the grid.
